Hi! My name is Mrs. Bracke and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I truly believe that by all of us working together we can make this a very successful school year.
This will be my thirteenth year teaching at Morrisville Elementary, and my eleventh year teaching fourth grade (I also taught 3rd grade at MES for two years). I earned my Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with my focus in Language Arts and in 2008 I received my National Board Certification in Middle Childhood Education.
I grew up in the small town of Alpena, Michigan and I love to go back there and visit family often. I currently live in Apex and am married to a wonderful man, who also happens to be a teacher, and together we have a very energetic 6 year old named Cooper, who keeps us very busy and is in kindergarten at Morrisville this year! We also have a daughter, Nora, who was born this past August. She is such a happy baby and we love seeing her smiling face each day. In my free time, I love to visit local parks and museums with my family, go on walks, read, and cook.
